Restaurant Associates takes an active commitment to environmental issues by contributing time and effort both in management and technical terms to the reduction and eventual elimination of significant pollution likely to emanate from the activities of our business. Specific activities we carry out include:
 
• Reducing waste and the consumption of fuel and  energy resources in our kitchens and catering areas by following proven control systems.

• Implementing an effective re-cycling programme at each location we operate by utilising a combination of our own systems, those used by our clients and in partnership with Local Councils and Authorities.

• Controlling the use of the non-consumable packaging used in our food service and production activities and wherever possible utilising our range of biodegradable packaging.

• Specifying to our supply partners the use of products and systems that  minimise emissions during production, distribution and disposal via our robust supply chain.
