Ensuring that our actions as a business are beneficial to the community and the environment as a whole.
We're committed to reducing our impact on the environment in the following ways.
Sourcing sustainably
Wherever possible, we source products locally or regionally. We employ ethical and Fairtrade initiatives and place great importance on food provenance.
Reducing our environmental impact
We actively work to prevent pollution, manage waste and conserve energy in whatever way we can. We use biodegradable and compostable disposables and work closely with our top five suppliers to minimise our carbon footprint.
Community minded
In conjunction with the wider Compass Group, current community projects include the Junior Chefs Academy, Training for Life and Payroll Giving, which contributed to 87 charities in the UK last year. We have also recently agreed a two-year commitment to Cancer Research UK as the Compass national charity.
