Now that the sun is (just about) out and summer is officially here we are all seeking out the best outdoor spaces that London has to offer to enjoy every precious minute of it. And what better way than with a delicious G&T?
The team at Restaurant Associates and Jason Atherton’s latest partnership, Temple & Sons, are no different and are joining forces with the inventive lot at Fever Tree to bring us a new option for escaping the heat of the city in their English country garden gin terrace.
Immersed in the aromas of trellises packed with botanicals, herbs and fruits the ‘Fever Tree Garnish Garden’ gives Ginthustiasts the chance to create their own personalised gin and tonic. The choices begin with a list of over 50 British spirits and liquors curated by Group Bar Executive and newly crowned Diageo Reserve World Class GB Bartender of the Year 2017, Jamie Jones, perfectly partnered with Fever Tree’s selection of tonic waters and premium spirit-mixers.
Each gin has been grouped into a flavour profile which guides guests to complementary garnishes in the garden and the chance to be creative in completing their own dream G&T. For those heatwave days there is even the option of adding a POPs, a British luxury ice popsicle using all natural ingredients, to make your own grown up G&T slushy.
Each week features a ‘Gin of the Week’, including Silent Pool, Sipsmith, Little Bird and The Botanist, and with two tipples for the price of one during Temple & Son’s daily happy hour (4-7pm) the Garnish Garden is the perfect destination for a tranquil gin-drenched summer.
