Held at the glitzy Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge and now in its fifth year, the Foodservice Cateys is one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the sector, celebrating the individuals, teams and businesses shaping the foodservice industry.
To be nominated for four awards this year is in itself a fantastic achievement so we were surprised and delighted when it was announced that we had won all four.
The newly refurbished Roux at Parliament Square was the recipient of two accolades – Front of House Team of the Year (Public Site) and Head Chef, Steve Groves, named Chef of the Year (Public Site) – while Duncan Kendall, Business Development Director, won Salesperson of the Year and Dennis Mwakulua, Group Executive Chef, won the Chef of the Year for a private site.
The whole evening had a great atmosphere and was a perfect chance to celebrate all of the hard work and talent from across RA.
James Boyle, Managing Director, commented: “Steve and the whole team at Roux at Parliament Square deserve huge praise for what they have achieved over the last year while we are incredibly proud to have a chef with the consummate skills shown by Dennis and a Business Development Director with Duncan’s expertise which allow us to provide this service to new clients. I want to say a huge well done to all the winners, and the wider Restaurant Associates team, for helping us achieve the targets we set out to reach.”
Congratulations to all of our amazing award winners!
